I researched various postpartum corsets /waist trainers months before my due date, and ordered several different brands.
I ended up returning every last one due to the poor quality except my Bellefit.
After my delivery, I must admit, I really thought it wasn't going to fit. But I followed the instructions in the package, and with a little extra help from my husband, I got it on just fine.
When I got home from the hospital, I was one of those women who really over did it (I took a 2 hour walk 4 days after labor!).
I was initially upset because I thought I wasn't going to be able to wear my Bellefit, since it would rub on my episiotomy and make it worse.
In looking online, it was only through other reviews, that I discovered it actually helped!
The last thing you want is a lot of movement on your stitches, and the Bellefit really compressed and held everything in place.
For me, wearing my Bellefit was the only way I could walk without being in pain.
In addition, I had refused to buy more than a few maternity items over the course of my pregnancy.
So I relied solely on my Bellefit to get into (and feel good in) my pre-pregnancy clothes only days after delivering.
